Stir Krazy is a self serve- build your own noodles style restaurant. Each adult bowl is 15.99 and child 12.99. We were sat at an open table and our server gave us a thorough explanation of how the process works. We were so full from our meals! It was so delicious. I will say that with all of the signage and self service counter, it was pretty straightforward and little need for the table service. But all in all was a yummy meal and we will be back.
Service was great for been are first time trying them out food was pretty fresh and always restocked Anthony been a manger did great job helping new customers out and always stocking and cleaning as well price food was average been normal to any where you go I would say bowl felt small but when it came out it was a lot food the server or manger be happy help or you can ask if you have question as well cook was great as well if you don't like the food that mean you can't cook at home
My dad heard about Stir Krazy a while back and wanted to give it a try. It happens to be on my home from work and so I told him I would meet him for dinner one night. And so we, along with my step-mom, had dinner here a couple of weeks ago. We were confused when we first walked in. We weren't sure if we should pay first or how to start building our meals. We were then shown to a table and provided the instructions we were looking for. Basically, come in and sit, recieve an empty bowl, fill it with your choice of meats, veggies and noodles. Add some sauce. Then pass it along to the grill master in the back. He will cook up your meal and a few minutes later hand it back to you. Simple. You do have to decide whether you want one serving or AYCE. The latter is probably the better deal if you can eat more than one plate. I probably could but I wanted to stick with just the one and so I loaded my bowl with as much as I could. Beef, mushrooms, baby corn, bamboo shoots, white onion, green onion and noodles. For my sauces I did a scoop of garlic water, curry and sesame oil. I should have added more but there were some other sauces to add post-cook so it all worked out. The final result of my self-assembled meal was pretty good. I have two complaints, though. 1) The sauces don't seem to have a whole lot of flavor so you need to add extra. And 2) the sauces are really difficult to pour on. There is a sneeze guard (rightfully so) but it is low. Yet the handles of the sauce ladles are so long that you almost can't get the ladle out of the sauce reservoir. And if you can, it is difficult to make it over to your bowl without spilling half. Its like trying to feed yourself with a 3 foot spoon. Sauce complaints aside, this was a fun experience. Food was solid and service was very good. We had not been to a Mongolian grill in a long time. This was a welcome departure from the same ol' same ol'.
Stir Krazy is once of those places that you pass by and say, "Hm, I'll try it next time but I'm intrigued." I actually really like this restaurant. The food is good for the price and the process is so cool to experience. It's a DYI food experience with different meats, veggies, and sauces. We don't have many Mongolian BBQ spots in Vegas. I'm used to seeing them in malls in LA, so I wish there were more locations for people to experience this style of food. You can get your meal to go or eat in, I opted for take out, but they have an all you can eat special if you choose to dine in. The service was great, I've been before so I didn't need recap but if you never been the server will explain the experience in greater detail. For now, you guys have me . First, the hostess will give you a bowl to load up your meal, then you can pick your meats (beef, chicken, pork, and I think turkey) it's frozen so you want more meat load up. Next, you add your veggies & there is so many veggie options I included mushrooms, onion, carrots, bamboo, and bean sprouts. Then, you add your noodles and sauces, you can even get some inspo from the signs above that tell you how many ladles of sauce to put in on your bowl. Finally, when you're done making your masterpiece you head over to the kitchen to watch your meal get made & they have additional add ons like shrimp & lamb. I included lamb in my order. While the person is making the order, the hostess will come with the bill. By the time you sign off, your meal is ready to go. It's really small & cozy and the service is chill. Check them out if you pass by.
Went here on a Thursday night. The line wasn't bad and the place was half full. The selection of proteins was basic but good. Nothing extravagant. The vegetable selection was just what I liked. The sauce selection was a lot so I appreciated the signs with suggestions. My bowl was cooked perfectly. I went with the $15 option & happy with it because I had some left overs for lunch the next day. The noodles were filling! I wanted to try the fried rice but they were out already. I will be back!
This is a good place to grab a bite to eat and leave very full after. Very friendly staff, the food is great since you control how much flavor you have in your food. The place get's somewhat busy at lunch and you do have to wait for others to finish creating their bowl so I usually go an hour after lunch time.
I was skeptical when I first walked in and almost left. The place isn't much to look at. This is a good example of not judging a book by its cover. All the food is properly stored and fresh, there are many options to put in your bowl. The guy who cooks the food did a food job and the food was perfectly cooked. The staff is friendly and will walk you through the process if it's your first time. They are a little high but it seems all places are a little high these days.
Quiet, place. But they picked up as soon as we started eating. Anthony, the server was really helpful and friendly. The atmosphere is pretty quiet, and clean. Bathrooms were clean. There was a nice amount of window seating and natural light. Low music in the background and some TVs on. The options for people were wide. From meat lovers, to vegetarians, as well as vegans. The sauces were the best part of the food. You can customize your flavor, and add white or brown rice to your plate. There were additional options for extra pricing like fried rice, bread, etc. we paid 14.99 and got more than enough on our plate for the price. You can also do AYCE for $25 I recommend for the value to service and value to taste. We were in and out within half an hour. But you can sit longer and enjoy your meal. We had food left over and we're able to package it to go. Plenty of food for the price!
Interesting concept! You get a bowl and you fill it up with what you want. Simple, right? I was very confused with the menu but basically just have fun and put what you want. Go Krazy with the sauces. Can go wrong. After you have put as much for as possible in your bowl, take it to the cook and he'll stir fry it for you on the big round griddle. I liked what I had created and if you're feeling Krazy then come here for lunch or dinner!
